Welcome to Garran Primary School
D. Roosevelt once said, "We cannot build the future for our youth - but we can build our youth for the future". At Garran Primary School teachers, staff and parents work in partnership to lay the foundation for every child to be happy, self-confident and inquisitive, ready to embrace the challenges and learning that await them beyond their primary school years.
Garran Primary School has epitomised the essential elements of an exemplary school, intellectual rigour, teaching excellence and a caring community in a stimulating environment, fostering innovation and growth. Our vision is to remain an exemplary school and a leader in education. The School continually invests in learning excellence, building capacity and proactively engaging with the community.
Garran Primary School has an enviable reputation for excellence and high standards. Students can persue their interest and strengths and are encouraged to achieve their personal best in a caring and supportive environment.
Garran is ideally positioned to educate, inspire and nurture the well-being of children today to become the leaders of tomorrow. Working within contemporary frameworks for learning children have opportunities to develop collaborative skills, critical thinking, communication and creativity.
I warmly welcome you to our school and encourage you to discover first hand what makes a Garran Primary School education so special.
For Your Consideration Prior To Enrolment
Due to high demand for enrolment, to enrol at Garran Primary you will be required to show evidence of residency in the Priority Enrolment Area. This means that families need to reside in the suburb of Garran at time of enrolment.
If you require Before and After Hours Care for children, please take into consideration before enrolment that not all children who attend Garran Primary School can be accommodated, or will be guaranteed a place, due to high demand.
